Asbury Park, NJ Event Will Feature Live Music, Special Guests, and Plastic-Free Merchandise Inspired by Garcia’s Art
Philadelphia, PA – July 16, 2025 — Retroactv, the platform redefining music merchandise through exclusive, artist-curated offerings and complementary storytelling, today announced the debut of its Jerry Garcia Collection. Launching August 1st, 2025—on what would have been the legendary musician’s 83rd birthday, Retroactv’s Garcia collection celebrates Jerry’s legacy not just as a musician, but as a prolific visual artist. Officially licensed by Jerry Garcia Music Arts, the line includes fine art prints, apparel, and other specially curated items featuring Jerry’s original artwork.
In honor of Jerry’s deep love for the ocean and scuba diving, all products in the collection will be 100% plastic-free, and apparel products will be GOTS certified, and Fair Trade certified — a tribute to his environmental values and artistic spirit. To align with this purpose, Retroactv transformed its entire production model to meet the plastic-free requirements of Jerry Garcia Music Arts.
To celebrate the launch, Retroactv will host a three-hour, live concert event from Asbury Park, NJ, open to 200 in-person guests and streaming online at Retroactv.com and select platforms. The celebration will feature:
