The officially-licensed Sound City Studio A Control Room t-shirt pays tribute to the beating heart of one of the most iconic recording studios in the world — the control room of Sound City Studios in Van Nuys, California. This is the current control room with Neve board similar to the one featured in the Sound City documentary. It's a 1974 Neve 8036, 28 channels. Avedis Audio rebuilt all the channels using NOS parts.

On the front chest pocket area, the Sound City logo stands proudly — a simple mark of authenticity from one of music’s most storied spaces.

From the Archives
The image on this shirt comes directly from the Sound City archives, capturing the warmth and character of a real working studio — complete with its glowing meters, worn faders, and lived-in energy. This is where albums by Fleetwood Mac, Nirvana, Tom Petty, Metallica, and Rage Against the Machine took shape, in a space built for creativity and imperfection in equal measure.
